History of the Alleycats.....the ever evolving story

The Alleycats consist of:

 

Nina Davis/piano/singer: one of the founding members, joined Kat Baloun back in the early days, which was around 1997. At that time it was primarily as a duo. She plays piano, blues bar none along with soul, funk and gospel. As time went on, it was necesarry to add on other players. So naturally we added on those that Nina knew and had experience with which brings us to......

Jan Hirte/guitar/singer: Jan was brought on to accompany the two blues ladies. Given his experience with many known blues bands in Germany, he fitted in with the ladies. Jan also works with Boogie Radio and Janice Harrington.

Tom Blacksmith/bass/singer: Tom with his solid blues grooves was only a natural to accompany the band. Tom has his own project.

Carlos Dalelana/drums: Carlos is one of the two drummers that accompany the cats. Carlose was brought on in 2003. He also has his own band and supports other Berlin bands as well.

 

 

Andreas Bock/drums: alternative drummer of the cats. Andreas was the drummer for BB & the Blues Shacks. He also works with several other bands, ie: Boogie Radio and Janice Harrington.
